Our Story
Jonn Bitrice College was established on September 14, 2009. It was a Saturday afternoon in the month of June, 2009. The Director sat in his office preparing some training papers for delivery at a workshop scheduled to take place a week ahed.
He had arrange for a metting with the Mathematics teacher of his children Mr. Nwokedi to take place in his office.
The teacher was in the Director's office for the first time and he saw the undeveloped expanse of lad in the frontage of the buildig in which his office was located.
The teacher asked to know what the Director's intended to use the upper floor of the building he occupied for and he told him that he planned to use the space for Huma Capital Development in the immediate future.
A week after the discussion, the Director sa a Newspaper advertisement concerning the disposal of chairs and tables of a school in Victoria Island. He arranged for the purchase and brought them to his office premises.
In the month of July, teacher arranged for summer coaching. His all, Mr Basil Nwokedi head-hunted for highly dedicated teachers he saw through the coachingperiod.
His passion for and deft in teaching and knowledge in running an educational institution manifested in the huge success of the summer coaching.
Before the end of the summer coaching in August, they registered the name of the school, issued admission forms, called and held a stakeholders meeting with teachers, intending parents/guardians and students were admitted with effects from September 14, 2009.
